Augmentic is careful with your data. We collect no more than we need, and we don't sell anything on.

Who we are

What we process

Only what you give us yourself. If you email us or book an introduction, we process your name, your contact details and what you write to us. Nothing more.

Booking an appointment

We use TidyCal to schedule introductions. When you book, you share your details with that service. See their own privacy statement for how they handle it.

Visitor statistics

We want to know whether our site is found and whether what we write is read. For that we use Matomo, an open source statistics tool that runs on our own server in Europe. No data goes to any other party.

We record which pages are visited and when, which website you arrived from, which country the visit comes from, and what kind of device and browser is used. The last two parts of your IP address are removed before anything is stored, so it cannot be traced back to you. Of the referring website we keep only the domain. We place no cookies, we do not follow you across other websites, and we build no profile. We use the data for nothing other than improving this site.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest: without any view of usage we cannot maintain or improve the site. Shortened visit data is kept for three months. After that only totals remain, which contain no personal data.

If your browser has a "Do Not Track" signal enabled, we do not measure your visit. If you also want to opt out, you can do so below. That choice is stored in a single cookie, and only for that purpose.

What we don't do

No ad networks, no marketing cookies, no third-party tracking.

Hosting

The site runs on Hostinger. Server logs are kept briefly for security and maintenance.

Retention

No longer than needed.

You can view, correct or delete your data. Email hello@augmentic.nl. If you disagree with how we handle your data, you can contact the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
